Well… basically about four/five years ago everyone was pretty sure it was Obito, but about three years back Kishimoto pushed the idea in the story that Tobi was actually Madara Uchiha, and for a really long time it’s sort of been pushed further and further away that Obito = Tobi. aha

yeah i don’t even read naruto i haven’t read it in three years but even i am like FINALLY TOBI IS OBITO
